I’m a set and projections designer for live performance and a sustainability consultant. I believe in the power of art and design to increase empathy and facilitate positive social change. I’m a member of United Scenic Artists Local 829 and Wingspace Theatrical Design. I’m a graduate of University of Michigan and Yale School of Drama and have taught at The New School and Connecticut College. I keep offices in New York and Oklahoma City where my wife Kelly Kerwin is the artistic director of Oklahoma City Repertory Theater.

I’m passionate about conserving our environment and co-authored The Sustainable Production Toolkit. I’ve lectured on sustainability at numerous universities and am a proud supporter of the Broadway Green Alliance.

I enjoy fostering conversations about design, dramaturgy and activism and have curated panel discussions for Wingspace Theatrical Design on: Gender Diversity in the Theatre, Green Model Making, Trans/GNC Representation in the Performing Arts, Teaching to Take Down the Patriarchy, Intellectual Property in the Theater, Design Pedagogy, Production Photography, Sustainable Production, and The Black Experience in the Musical, after 1865.

My photographs have been featured in many New York Times theatre reviews, and I designed a line of teeshirts available at ETM Design and on Amazon.
